For this brief I was tasked to devise a campaign for young people/students to promote wellbeing, challenge stigma around mental health issues and/or signpost existing services, resources and support. I created the campaign ‘Mind Your Head’ for Student Minds which works in collaboration with universities to promote wellbeing. I came up with the idea of a pop up which is used at freshers fairs and aimed to reach the students directly. The takeaway bag/box with printed collateral that I have initiated acts as a prompt and signposts existing services that are available to students.
For this brief we were tasked with coming up with a concept for a brand as well as bringing it to life. This is ‘Unwined’ - a dinner party delivery service. Using the app to order everything from food and wine, to candles and menu cards for the table. With an emphasis on sustainability, Unwined collects and reuses the hampers in return for customer rewards and the debossed finish on the boxes minimises plastic and labels.
For this brief we were tasked with creating a visual identity that formed part of a brand experience for a contemporary cultural festival. This is ‘Mix’ - a festival where music meets mixology in the summer months in Hyde Park, London. I created brand guidelines to create a visual identity for the festival and applied it to a suite of collateral, both printed and digital.
A small scale refreshed identity for Borough Market fruit and veg stall, Elsey & Bent. In addition to this, to promote their refreshed identity, I initiated a social media campaign to encourage people to buy imperfect fruit and vegetables along with supporting collateral.
A selection of different publications, produced using perfect binding, hardback bookbinding etc.
We were tasked with creating a typographic vinyl sleeve using only one typeface which also represented the music genre. We were given both elements. This is my take on Zarzuela using Clarendon.
Self Initiated Project
Self Initiated Project gave us the reigns to explore a subject of our choice. I incorporated my hockey hobby with my interest in branding and screen printing. I created a series of posters to promote the women’s England hockey FIH Pro League fixtures in collaboration with Nike and their ‘Bring Your Game’ campaign. I also created an app which works alongside the posters to give the viewer more information when the QR code on the poster has been scanned.
I was commissioned to create branding for a local craftsman who wanted a recognisable and more contemporary look for his business to create a cohesive suite of collateral. I took inspiration from wood grain to achieve a more contemporary look for the business.
Full Flow / The Language of Grime
This was a collaborative project with two other students to create a limited edition book cover for Jeffrey Boakye’s ‘Hold Tight’ which explores the language of Grime. The inspiration for our design came from hand scratched graffiti in club toilets in London.
